 the soul reaching towards infinity 

* the condition of acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them. Also used to refer to books ready for reading later when they are on a bookshelf.

** I've just realised that the very similar piles I've got at home have grown taller – how on earth did that happen?
